Japan Shoji goes to extraordinary effort to insure that each and every shipment reaches our customers in the best possible time, for the best possible price and in excellent condition. All shipments are triple-boxed for extra care and shipped fully-insured against damage. All Truck Line Shipments go via “Grade A” truck lines. Ground shipments go via UPS or Federal Express.

Japan Shoji respects your privacy. We NEVER share, sell or exchange any of your private information, email addresses or purchase records with anyone. Period. It is that simple

We use the latest SSL secure socket layers and sophisticated, encrypted data management. Our site is monitored daily by several independent security firms to test and confirm that the site is secure. In addition Credit Card information and numbers are only kept until the order is processed, filled and completed. All Credit Card information is then automatically erased, preventing any unauthorized use or data theft.

We use a 4-step Credit Card verification policy for Visa, MasterCard, and American Express to insure your credit information is secure and properly authorized. This is the most secure system available in the industry.

Shipping Times and Charges

Orders are processed immediately upon receipt. Normal shipping time is 3-12 business days for standard UPS and Fed Ex ground. Shoji screens are oversize and can take 10 -12 (two weeks) business days in transit. Rarely a product may be backordered. If so, you will be contacted with expected shipping and delivery time.
Bedroom sets and furniture require between 2-4 weeks for delivery, unless otherwise noted. All furniture products require truck line shipping.

Returns

Cancelled Orders

Any order can be canceled up until the time of shipment for a full refund.

"Rest Easy" Returns

Once an order has been shipped, any order can be returned within 30 days for a full refund of the purchase price less the original shipping fee. Return shipping and return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Customer assumes responsibility for the return of the product in new condition. If a product is not returned in new and good condition, a refund cannot be issued. A 10% restocking fee may be charged for products that are returned without original boxes and packing materials. Furniture and Mattresses shipped truck freight or UPS will incur a 10% restocking fee. Refunds will be issued within 7 days after return of goods and completion of transaction.

Damaged Shipments

All products are shipped fully-insured against loss or damage. In the unlikely event a product is damaged in shipment, Accept Delivery, note on the delivery receipt the number of boxes damaged and contact Japan Shoji for replacement. Japan Shoji will file and coordinate all damage claims with the shipping company. All damaged claims must be made within 5 days of receipt of goods. Damaged goods cannot be returned for credit.

Refused Shipments Incur Original and Return Freight Charges billed directly to the customer.

International Shipping

Japan Shoji can ship products almost anywhere in the world. We ship UPS Air Express, and US Post Office Express, whichever is more economical. We charge exact shipping charges and do not add any extra handling or packing fees. International shipping charges are often significantly more expensive than domestic charges.

Place an order for the products you want over our secure server. We will calculate the most economical shipping charges and notify you by e-mail. If you approve, we will then process your order and ship.

International shipping times range from 3-7 business days for UPS up to 2 weeks and more for US Postal Service.
